Busy, busy, busy!
We just thought we would post a quick update to let you know what we have been up to since the last update.
We have been working hard on the new mobile version of the Perfect Diet Tracker (Tracker2Go), and implementing a whole range of new updates to the desktop version.
The initial release of the iOS mobile app is now with Apple waiting for review, and the Android app is in the testing stage so both are on track! Subject to approval by the relevant app stores, the mobile version should be available soon.
In the meantime if you want to see some of the screenshots of the mobile app, take a look at http://www.perfect-diet-tracker.com/tracker2go/
The desktop version of the Perfect Diet Tracker is also being updated with many of the suggestions we have received from users over the past few months. Many of the updates required core coding changes to implement and we are working hard to ensure the front ‘user interface’ end of the software retains its ease of use, while adding the new power tools for users who want more!
All the above is ‘coming soon’ so watch this space!
Hi, Will the mobile app connect to our diet tracker on the computer, so they stay synchronised? Or will be a stand alone app?
We have completed the code for the sync feature, however the first release has had the sync removed to try to get approval asap, so it will initially be stand alone.
As soon as we have the stand alone approved we will activate the sync code for a second release which will sync with the desktop app.
HALLELUJAH!!!!!!
Hi there,
How about us Android Users ??!!
When will there be an Android App ??
Kindest regards,
Jez
Hi Jez,
The android app will be available ASAP. We have it working in the office here and are just working out a few performance issues, as soon as we are happy with it we will get it out there!
Thanks
Hi Byron,
And thanks for the reply.
Without putting a gun to your head, can you give any indication as to when it’d be out there ??
Even if it’s ‘days’, ‘weeks’, ‘months’, it’d be an indicator of what to expect.
Kindest regards,
Jez
Im afraid we cannot give estimated release dates as the software often has to be approved by the relevant marketplace which can be days, weeks to months. All I can confirm is it will not be ‘days’, we hope weeks, but cannot rule out a couple of months. We will do everything we can to get both the Android phone and the iPad releases out asap, and the Android tablet is current being worked on and that will follow later in the year.
Hi, I’m a user and avid promoter amongst friends/family/fitness professionals, of this software on my pc …
Having just bought an android, I’m keen to get it on my phone (no other program I have tried has even come close to this one!).
Any further update on when this will be available on androids? I see the hopefully not months comment above, which was month ago … Hopefully there’s a clearer indication for us ocd diet/exercise folk that must track all they eat/do to get the right results!
(and thank you for such a wonderful, complex, easy to use, program!).
Hi Sally,
We are currently beta testing the Android release, so it should be available soon!
