Perfect Diet Tracker | How to search for a food item

Food Search Options

The Perfect Diet Tracker includes an extensive food database.
The database, included in the trial version download, covers most food and drink types and includes staple foods and some 'brand name' food items.
If you cannot locate a product, adding it is easy using the nutritional information found on the product labelling.

Adding a new food product

If the product you have eaten is not in the current food database, the Perfect Diet Tracker will present you with a form, just like the one to below.

You can add your new product by completing the form from the nutritional information found on the product label.
The form will adjust, based on your country and product type to make entry quick and easy, it should take less than a minute to enter all the information.
Once you have added the product, it will become available in your future food searches, and in your favourite food items.

Country based product searches

The food search works together with country matching to bring you the most relevant results. This ensures you have the information you need at your fingertips and saves wasting time trawling through product matches that are not relevant in your country.

Exercise

Adding exercise will increase the amount of calories you have available.

The Perfect Diet Tracker includes a database of popular exercise and activities, so you can add them to your diary quickly and easily.
Included in the database are the more 'obvious' sports like tennis, cycling and soccer, but also items like housework, gardening and even playing tag with the kids.
