The 7 day free trial starts when you install the Perfect Diet Tracker software.

You can download the software today, but if you are intending starting your diet later we recommend you run the installer when you are ready to start your diet to ensure you get a full 7 day trial of the software. We are unable to extend the free trial period.

Does the trial download contain any other software?

No, the download only contains the Perfect Diet Tracker software. No spyware, no adware, no toolbars and no viruses. This is certified independently by Softpedia and Download.com.

How long will it take to download?

If you have a 'broadband' connection, the download should complete in under a minute. On a slower connection the download should still complete in just a few minutes.

How long will the free trial last

The free trial will work for 7 days. There are no functional restrictions in the trial, you get access to all the features in the software.

I have download the Windows version, how do I install it?

After the download has completed, locate the pdt3win.exe file and double click it. An installer will start and add the Perfect Diet Tracker to your start menu.

If you decide to uninstall the software at any time, an uninstall option is also added to the Windows add/remove software section of the control panel.

I have downloaded the Mac version, how do I install it?

After the download is complete, locate the pdt3mac.dmg file you have downloaded and double click it. You will be asked to agree to the license agreement, then shown a window with a Perfect Diet Tracker icon and an 'Applications' folder.

Simply drag the Perfect Diet Tracker icon on top of the 'Applications folder' to copy the software to your mac, then locate the Perfect Diet Tracker icon in your applications folder and run the software from there.

If you decide to uninstall the software at any time you can simply drag the Perfect Diet Tracker from the applications folder into the trash.

I have downloaded the Linux version, how do I install it?

Simply unpack the pdt3linux.tar.gz file to a folder of your choice, then double click on the Perfect Diet Tracker icon. If your system reports an error with 'permissions', right click on the icon and click on the permissions tab to check the file has 'execute' permission set.

If you decide to uninstall the software at any time you can simply delete the Perfect Diet Tracker folder.
